I had a 22 year old KitchenAid Imperial that was still working fine, but were remodeling so i chose this one and it is Very Nice.
I installed myself with no issues. It is smaller than the old Imperial which is nice to save the under cabinet space.It is pretty quiet and works well.
It feels like a quality unit having a little weight to it. Some of the other brands felt and looked cheap, not having the quality that this one has.
