Editorial Reviews

Review

"Funny and soulful...evinces both a deep-belly sense of humor and a thoughtful care for how and why we form connections...Riveting to the end. 4.5 out of 5 stars."
 - IndieReader

"Rogers's pacing is impeccable and his cinematographer's sense of where to zoom in and where to fade out is little short of miraculous. [He] writes with the skill and precision of a brain surgeon wielding a scalpel. 10 out of 10."
- The BookLife Prize

"Rogers has opened the vein of brothers, lovers, and greed in the American West.  I heard echoes in the mines, people who had taken me to their depths."
- Shaun Griffin, Nevada Writers Hall of Fame Member

"Written with verve and sensitivity."
- Kirkus Reviews
