Report Your Amazon Device as Lost or Stolen

If your Amazon device has been lost or stolen, contact Amazon Customer Service.

You can contact Amazon Customer Service by clicking the Contact US button located on the left side of every Help page on the Amazon website.

Amazon Customer Services marks the device as Lost/Stolen. This prevents the device from being registered to another Amazon account in most cases.

Note: If you can't contact Amazon Customer Service immediately, deregister your device to prevent purchases on your Amazon account using that device.

To deregister your device:

  1. Go to Manage Your Content and Devices and select the Devices tab.
  2. Select the lost or stolen device, click Edit next to the device name, and copy its serial number to provide to Customer Service.
  3. Click Deregister, and then click Deregister again to complete the process.
