If your Amazon device has been lost or stolen, contact Amazon Customer Service.
Amazon Customer Service marks the device as Lost/Stolen. This prevents the device from being registered to another Amazon account in most cases.
Important: If you can’t contact Amazon Customer Service immediately, deregister your device to prevent purchases on your Amazon account.
If your Fire tablet (running Fire OS 3.2.5 or later) or Fire phone is lost or stolen, locate your device, activate the alarm, and lock, deregister or factory reset remotely using the Manage Your Lost or Stolen Device features.
To deregister your device:
If you're worried about unauthorized purchases on your lost or stolen device, update your payment method under Digital Payment Settings in the Preferences tab.
